The itinerary

Day 1: Board the Flight to Delhi and onward to Leh - Arrive inLeh

The Innova will drop you to the Delhi airport to catch the onward flight toLeh,early morning flight. Welcome at the airport by the expedition leaders with the traditional Ladakhi silk scarf Khatak. Acclimatizing to the altitude is very important journey before doing any activity so we take rest and venture out to the city market in evening for a casual stroll. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02: LEH EnrouteKhardungla Nubra Valley

After breakfast at the hotel, brace yourself for the splendid drive over the mighty Khardung La the 2nd highest motor able pass in the world at a height of 5602 M/ 18,380 ft. Over the route, the road dramatically plunges, and Shyok and Nubra Rivers unfold magically. You move on via Diskit to reach the white sands of Hunder. After freshening up, visit the Diskit monastery, which is believed to be the largest and oldest monastery in Nubra valley, and enjoy the sunset. Head back to the hotel by late evening.

Day 03: Nubra Leh (215 kms) 8 hrs drive

Post breakfast, begin your journey for the day, exploring the various villages of Nubra Valley. Retrace your steps past Diskit, to go to Khalsar. Take a 25 kilometers drive towards Panamik and reach Sumur. Walk your way to the ancient Gompa. Dont forget to packa lunch. Spend some time and then drive back over Khadung (check the spelling) La to reach Leh by early evening. A 38 kms drive from there takes you to the confluence point of two rivers- Indus and Zanskar. The sunset is the perfect backdrop you can wish for. Head back to the hotel by late evening.

DAY 04: LEH PANGONG TSO and back (150 kms) 5 hrs drive

After breakfast, drive from Leh to Manali past Shey and Thiksey the mound of earthen monastic dwellings, crowned by the Gompa. At Karu, which is a junction, you take a detour and start ascending to cross the Ladakh range over Chang-La (5,475 M / 17950 ft.) At the foot of the pass on the other side we reach Tangse village. The valley is blessed with a beautiful stream flowing through it, originating from the lake, giving a greenish tincture to the otherwise dry landscape around. Apart from flora this area is rich in fauna too. You can see a lot of Himalayan Marmots around the area. However, the main attraction of this circuit is the grand PangongTso, which you would reach by early evening. The mesmerizing beauty and the fantastic view of Tso places it a league above anything you have seen so far. Since its too cold to pitch in there we head to Leh and enroute stay over at a Ladakhi Village Chusoto to enjoy the Ladakhi village hospitality .

DAY 05:A day to relax by the indus river and short cycling trip to the villages around

After breakfast we have a leisure day to explore the village , we set up a river side picnic and get you mountain bikes to ride around the village, we will also provide barbeque and bon fire for the evening as a celebratory Dinner get together for the group.

Post Dinner we will drive back to Leh and get inot the cozy hotel bed to again wake up the next morning to bid the tour good bye

DAY 06: Leh Delhi or Mumbai

In morning after breakfast, bid the Ladakh region Goodbye and Board the flight back to Delhi
